With deepest sorrow and sympathy

We mourn the loss of our long-time interpreter, Amara Ben Aziza. He was a great support to our work and a wonderful role model, especially for young refugees.

If someone tells you,
that the soul perishes along with the body
and that what is once dead never returns,
so tell him: The flower is dying,
But the seed remains behind and lies before us.
mysterious, like the eternity of life.
